"It was closed when we finally made it to the top of the hill. But I remember this Ice Cream as a kid and really want to taste it again. The menu item I enjoyed was called the "Coit Tower"."

"Swensen’s design reminds me of Norman Rockwell paintings ; we do need nostalgia during these temperamental times; This place should have some outdoor seating and pistachio flavor but I do love their toasted almond flavor. Lovely to have this parlor within Russian Hill."
