RHN Neighborhood Enhancement
"I have lived in Russian Hill for 44 years and counting so I have strong ties to what makes this neighbor so special. Top of my list is Swensen's Ice Cream Shop. This iconic ice cream shop produces all the classic flavors, (and then some) right there on site and every last one of them is mouth-watering delicious. I have too many favorite flavors to mention but NO one makes a better Mint Chip. NO ONE. And don't get me started on the Sticky Chewy Chocolate. OMG! A strawberry cone with chocolate sprinkles is its own kind of heaven, but then again, you've got to go back to enjoy the toasted almond! I feel sad for those with peanut allergies, because they will never know the peanut butter-chocolate ice cream combo that sets your taste buds to dancing. If I can stop raving about the delicious ice cream, I could then express my gratitude to how nice and warm and welcoming, and let me add, generous, owner Diane and her husband Jim are. And every last employee there is kind and polite. Long live Swensen's. Thank you for all the joy!"
