"The place feels like a vintage icecream shop in a small northeastern coastal town when you step in. The seasonal flavor at the time was spumoni and I got that and I really liked it. Tasted a number of other flavors too and none of them were too sweet which is how I like it."

"Swensons is a must . Staff here work so hard and keep the line moving. It is walking distance from us and my husband is addicted. The Hyde Street cable car and #45 bus go straight there. 2 blocks from Lombard crooked street."
